Core Capabilities

Lexis® Sign provides a comprehensive suite of features for electronic document signing, eliminating the need for printing, manual signing, and scanning. The platform enables users to securely sign PDF documents online, offering a choice between ordinary electronic signatures and Advanced Electronic Signatures (AES) in accordance with current legislation. All signed documents are designed to be tamper-proof, ensuring total document integrity, and come with a secure audit trail. It enhances efficiency by accelerating the conclusion of contracts and agreements through a streamlined digital workflow.

Who It's Built For

Lexis® Sign is ideally suited for legal professionals, corporate clients, government agencies, and any organization seeking to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance in their agreement processes. It addresses the pain points of slow, paper-based workflows, illegible scanned documents, and the need for urgent contract finalization in a digital age. By providing a secure and legally compliant e-signature solution, Lexis® Sign helps users protect against risk, improve decision-making, and uphold the rule of law by simplifying the entire signing process from upload to secure filing.

Integrations & APIs

Lexis® Sign offers robust integration options to seamlessly fit into existing organizational workflows. Its powerful API allows for direct integration with in-house CRM or Document Management Systems, ensuring that every signature carries the highest level of evidentiary weight as recognized by the ECT Act. Furthermore, the platform provides a Microsoft® Office 365 Add-In, enabling users to draft and effortlessly send documents for signatures directly from Microsoft® Word. Users can also sync signed documents with their preferred cloud storage solutions, ensuring flexible document management.

Compliance & Security

Lexis® Sign delivers world-class digital signatures that are fully compliant with the South African Electronic Communications and Transactions (ECT) Act. This legal framework grants recognition to electronic documents that utilize advanced digital software to provide security, ensure document integrity, and guarantee indisputable authenticity. The platform facilitates a secure audit trail for all transactions, ensuring transparency and accountability. Documents signed with Lexis® Sign are tamper-proof, meaning no additions, deletions, or missing pages can occur after signing, thereby maintaining the evidentiary value of every agreement.

Pricing & Plans

Lexis® Sign operates on a subscription-based model, offering flexible pricing based on the number of users. New users can benefit from a special introductory offer, receiving the first 30 days free for an unlimited number of users, allowing organizations to thoroughly evaluate the service without immediate cost. Following the trial period, pricing scales, with a lower per-user per month rate for larger teams. Specifically, 1-10 users are charged R317.70* per user per month, while 11+ users are charged R264.75* per user per month, with all prices excluding VAT.

How It Works

The process with Lexis® Sign is straightforward and efficient, involving four key steps. First, users 'SEND' by uploading a PDF document that requires signatures, with an option to also request supporting documents like ID copies. Second, 'SIGN' allows recipients to securely apply either an ordinary Electronic Signature or an Advanced Electronic Signature (AES), using various identification methods remotely or face-to-face. Third, upon successful and secure signing, the sender 'RECEIVE's a notification, with the document confirmed as completely tamper-proof and uneditable. Finally, users can 'FILE' the document by downloading a secure PDF, syncing with cloud storage, integrating via API, or storing it safely on the Lexis® Sign platform itself.
